BMW K1300R – Dynamic Spec – 180BHP + at the crank. (A very quick sports tourer!).
This is the dynamic model giving several option packs and upgrades all of which are a bit variable but this one has:

K1300’s are renowned for their Duolever front suspension and paralever (EVO) rear suspension which allows braking in corners (Sensible for mortals like us) with no dive normally associated with conventional forks. The long wheel base does not make them quick turners but does make them very stable high speed long distance tourers. And I can vouch for that having travelled over 4000 miles in the company of this bike over two bike holidays.
This bike has replacement levers, a laminar lip screen extension all the way from America (very clever aerodynamic lip which lifts air over the head – very effective), K&N air filter plus Power Commander V and Werx pipe giving 159 rear wheel hp and estimated 187bhp at crank… plus perfect 12.5:1 fuelling all the way up to red line from 4500. They put out over 100 ft lbs of torque and the engines are stellar – you never get to the red line!
With the set up and re-map it now gives 50 mpg normally with 60 mpg possible for those gentle A class road runs. It returned several 60+ mpg on many tanks of fuel in Spain last year compared to the previous 40 to 45 average prior to fitment of the PC5, so very impressive bit of kit that Power Commander.
It has the BMW rear soft luggage bag plus its carrier and a Garmin sat nav included in the ASKING price.
Its servicing is full BMW, (6 Services to date with all of the detailed invoices to go along with it) the last being 2600 or so miles ago leaving 3400 before the next scheduled service at 34000. It has 6000 mile oil changes and at every third oil service (i.e every 18000 miles) the valve clearances are checked and plugs . This costs about £120 pounds more on than the normal £145 oil service. K forums show that few K’s ever need actual adjustment.

Condition…
The bike is in good overall condition, rear tyre almost new but the front is showing slight wear.
The bike has been dropped off the side stand on the drive by Jason (The owner, whom we’re selling this for by the way) and there are some light marks on the bike that I’ve shown in the photos and attached video walkaround.
There is some wear and tear that one would expect on a 30k, 6yr old bike, but it’s a great piece of kit and only being replaced for a new KTM 1190 Adventure that I managed to bag for him at a silly cheap price. 🙂
The bike does come with all the books, service, manuals and two keys as per new, including the paperwork on the luggage and rack.
The bike will have a 12mth MOT put on it upon sale to the next owner.
